Swan Racing announced Monday, Dec. 10, that Tony Eury Jr. will serve as the crew chief for driver David Stremme in the No. 30 Toyota for the Sprint Cup season in 2013. Swan Racing is prepared to run a full season next year.

JR Motorsports announced Tuesday, Sept. 18, that crew chief Tony Eury Jr., the crew chief for driver Danica Patrick in the Nationwide Series, is being replaced. Crew chief Ryan Pemberton will move to the No. 7 GoDaddy.com team. Patrick is 11th in points in the series after her 12th place finish at Chicagoland Speedway last weekend.

Crew chief Tony Eury Jr. will serve as the crew chief for JR Motorsports driver Danica Patrick in the Nationwide Series next year but not in her limited work in the Sprint Cup series with Stewart-Haas Racing. It is unknown who will serve as Patrick's crew chief for her 10 Cup races next year.

David Newton, of ESPN.com, reports JR Motorsports has named Tony Eury Jr. the crew chief for JR Motorsports driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the Nationwide Series. Eury was Earnhardt's former crew chief with Hendrick Motorsports in the Sprint Cup Series earlier this year. Eury will be replacing crew chief Brian Campe, who mutually agreed to be released from his contract. The first race with Eury as the new crew chief will be Saturday, Oct. 24, at Memphis Motorsports Park with Richard Boswell as the driver.

The Associated Press reports Hendrick Motorsports crew chief Tony Eury Jr. said he feels he let down driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. because the two could never turn around this year's slow start. Eury said Earnhardt has so much pressure on him this year that he is not enjoying himself.

Hendrick Motorsports has announced the demotion of Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s crew chief, Tony Eury Jr., to the research and development team. The pair posted one victory in 48 races together with Hendrick Motorsports, and Eury will be replaced by team manager Brian Whitesell for the Autism Speaks 400. Starting June 7, 2009, Lance McGrew will be the interim crew chief for the No. 88 Chevrolet team.

David Newton, of ESPN.com, reports Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick said he has no plans to separate driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and crew chief Tony Eury Jr. "I have no intention of making any changes," Hendrick said. "I have all intentions of making it better. These guys are working their butts off ... and I have to believe in the next few weeks we're going to see some real success out of that crowd."

Earnhardt drove the chassis to a win in the LifeLock 400 at Michigan International Speedway earlier this season.

Hendrick Motorsports crew chief Tony Eury Jr. and the No. 88 engineers chose chassis No. 88-478 for driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. It is the same chassis he used in the Budweiser Shootout, a non-points race. Earnhardt earned a top-10 finish at Talladega Superspeedway using the chassis as well.

Hendrick Motorsports crew chief Tony Eury Jr. and the No. 88 AMP/National Guard Chevrolet engineers chose chassis No. 88-488 for driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. to use in the LifeLock 400 at Michigan International Speedway. The car was used in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series All-Star Race at Lowe's Motor Speedway where Earnhardt finished eighth. They also tested the car at Pocono Raceway.
