Stewart and Zipadelli won two Cup titles with Joe Gibbs Racing. Zipadelli is the crew chief for driver Danica Patrick in 10 Cup races this year.

Mon, 21 Nov 2011 08:47:00 -0800 Stewart-Haas Racing crew chief Darian Grubb, the crew chief for driver Tony Stewart, is looking for another job after he was told midway through the Sprint Cup race at Charlotte that he would not return to the team next season. Sources are saying that Grubb has been offered a job at Hendrick Motorsports, where he worked for four years as an engineer. He has also been connected to Michael Waltrip Racing and several other teams.
There is speculation that Stewart will hire former Joe Gibbs Racing crew chief Greg Zipadelli to be his director of competition in 2012 and Penske Championship crew chief Steve Addington to be his crew chief.

Stewart criticized and blamed Zipadelli and his crew for the loss. "We want to win as a team, we want to finish strong," Stewart said. "We want to get this monkey off our back. It's frustration of having a bad year."

Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin, Gillett Evernham Motorsports driver Elliott Sadler, crew chief Greg Zipadelli and former crew chief and FOX Sports broadcaster Jeff Hammond were all named to the Sheridan Ridge Private Reserve advisory board. The 1,400 acre resort community located in southwest Virginia is expected to be a home away from home environment for guests and even NASCAR drivers and members. Stewart said after spending 38 of 52 weeks a year on the road it will be nice to be able to retreat to a place like the Sheridan resort and be able to hang out with friends and relax. As members of the advisory board they will be responsible for weighing in on the property's amenities and showing visitors the unique lifestyle at the resort. The resort is located between Bristol, Richmond and Martinsville speedways, which will allow NASCAR fans to stay at the resort during race weekends.
