The Atlanta Falcons have promoted offensive quality control coach Glenn Thomas to quarterbacks coach and have hired former Miami Dolphins assistant defensive backs coach Joe Danna as their defensive backs coach.

The Atlanta Falcons announced the hiring of Joe Danna as the team's new defensive quality control coach Monday, Feb. 4. Danna spent the 2007 season as the defensive backs coach for the James Madison Dukes and in 2006 he coached the defensive backs at Georgia Southern. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
