It hit me straight in the head and I went to the ground. Good thing I had a hat on or I feel there would have been blood." Patrick was evaluated Thursday.

Patrick is weighing in at 110 pounds currently. "There's two thought processes," series director John Darby said when asked whether a lighter driver could have an advantage. "One is the heavier driver will help compress the springs more and help pull the car down out of the air."
