Titans | Hoping to Catch On

Fri, 25 May 2001 11:01:58 -0700

Paul Kuharsky reports for the Tennessean that Tennessee Titans RB Mike Green and WR Chris Coleman are both having very productive seasons in NFL Europe, but they realize that doesn't guarantee them spots on the Titans roster come the start of the NFL season. Last year, Titans QB Kevin Daft had a solid NFL Europe showing but lost out on the No. 3 QB position during camp. Green should get a lot of opportunities during training camp as the team will be slowly working RB Eddie George (toe) back into the mix. Green and rookie Dan Alexander could battle for the backup job behind George this year.
