Wed, 20 Feb 2008 12:13:51 -0800 SceneDaily.com reports Richard Childress Racing driver Stephen Leicht will make his debut with RCR at California Speedway and will drive the No. 21 Chevrolet in the Stater Bros. 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race Saturday, Feb. 23. Leicht is scheduled to race at least two times for RCR this year after previously being with Robert Yates Racing team last year. He said he is excited and knows that he is in good hands with RCR. "The track record with RCR's Nationwide program is amazing, and it definitely gives me a lot of confidence going into the weekend," Leicht said. "My goal is to keep the good finish streak alive. I know that Shane and the rest of the team work hard week in and week out to build and prepare great race cars. I'm excited to work with Shane and look forward to learning from the championship team." The No. 21 team won the 2006 championship with driver Kevin Harvick and the No. 29 crew won the 2007 owners title.
