WTVF reports multiple players from the Tennessee Titans have had speeding tickets dismissed without paying a fine or going to traffic school. TE Ben Troupe, DL Randy Starks, LB Rocky Boiman, and former FS Lance Schulters, now with the Miami Dolphins, were all given multiple speeding tickets and had them all dismissed. Court officials suggest a friendly officer is fixing the tickets, which would be a violation of departmental policy.

Levy said Monday that its unlikely Schulters will sign unless he receives a better contract offer. "I'm not anticipating anything in the near future with him and the Dolphins," Levy said. "At this point, we haven't been able to come to an understanding that both sides are happy with, but we'll continue to talk in good faith." Levy said the Dolphins had some concerns about the foot injury that sidelined Schulters for 13 games last season but that his client had passed a physical "and could play right now."

The two sides tried unsuccessfully to reach a contract agreement to keep Schulters with the Titans. Levy said he did not expect his client to remain on the free agent market very long. Schulters was scheduled to make $2.75 million in base salary with a $4.2 million salary-cap charge in 2005.

He didn't take part in any drills as the Titans want to avoid any potential injuries, but he is working out at the team headquarters. Head coach Jeff Fisher said they will be talking with Schulters within the next day or so to decide his future with the Titans. He will still be welcomed to return to the team, if he can work out a deal on a restructured contract.
