Updating a previous item, Robby Gordon Motorsports driver Robby Gordon has been put on probation until Dec. 31 after an altercation last week with driver Kevin Conway, according to ESPN.com.

Robby Gordon Motorsports driver Robby Gordon was placed on indefinite probation last weekend because of an altercation with driver Kevin Conway during the NASCAR Nationwide Series race Saturday, March 5, according to ESPN.com's Terry Blount. Conway was not penalized.

Driver Kevin Conway will race for NEMCO Motorsports in the Daytona 500 Sprint Cup race this year, according to SceneDaily.com's Bob Pockrass. Extenze will sponsor the team. Conway will have to make the race in the No. 97 Toyota based on speed. A deal has not been signed for any races beyond Daytona.
