The Journal Sentinel reports the Green Bay Packers visited with free agent S Bobby Myers (Titans) on Wednesday. The Packers medical staff rejected him because of a previous knee injury.

TitansRadio.com, citing the Nashville City Paper, reports free agent S Bobby Myers (Titans) will re-sign with the Tennessee Titans for the league minimum of $300,000. "They are going to bring Bobby back," Myers' agent Ron Slavin told the City Paper. "Heís been injured for two years, and they didnít want to tender him, but heíll be back." The move to sign him, after he was released, saves the team approximately $305,000 on their 2003 salary cap.

The Tennessean reports Tennessee Titans general manager Floyd Reese said the team plans to offer one-year tender offers to each of their eight restricted free agents. That would allow the Titans to match any offer from another team or receive compensation in return. The players are: DT Robaire Smith, LBs Frank Chamberlin and Peter Sirmon, S Aric Morris and Bobby Myers, QB Billy Volek, RB Mike Green and TE Erron Kinney.

He's still sporting a brace on his left knee. He hasn't participated in an organized workout this spring because of the recovery.

The Tennessean reports Tennessee Titans S Bobby Myers is continuing his attempted comeback from last season's ACL injury. Myers says he's roughly 75% and expects to be 100% by training camp in July. Whether his old starting position is there for him is a different question. Myers said the coaching staff hasn't told him they are bringing in someone to take his place. There's also a chance he could be shifted to strong safety. ''I think I am suited to be a free, but if I am given a chance to play strong I could do it,'' he said. Myers expects to wear a knee brace at least two more months. He will be at the team's June mini-camps, but he'll only do roughly 75-80% of the things in mini-camp.

According to the Tennessean, Tennessee Titans starting Blaine Bishop (rib) did not practice yesterday. DE Jevon Kearse (neck, knee) also missed practice. If the Titans play this weekend, both Kearse and Bishop are expected to be in the lineup. The team is getting ready to put CB Dainon Sidney (knee) and S Bobby Myers (knee), both out for the year, on the injured reserved list.

Larry Stone, of Titans Radio Network, reports Tennessee Titans S Bobby Myers is going to miss the remainder of the 2001 season after suffering a torn ACL. Doctors didn't think the injury was serious, but an MRI test found an ACL tear. Undrafted rookie free agent Joe Walker will start against the Bengals this weekend and will also prepare CB Donald Mitchell to play safety.

Michael Booker (low back spasms) missed Thursday's game and Donald Mitchell has lost some practice time because of a hamstring injury. Fisher also said Bobby Myers would start at free safety ''if we were to start the season tomorrow.''

Paul Kuharsky reports for the Tennessean that CB Samari Rolle has joined the Titans at their practice facility. He hadn't showed up with the rest of the team last week for the team's passing camp. QB Neil O'Donnell and DL Henry Ford still haven't showed but O'Donnell is expected to come in next week. With QB Steve McNair (shoulder) out of action and O'Donnell not in town, Billy Volek has been taking the snaps at QB. In other news, S Bobby Myers is opening training camp as the starting free safety but Ss Perry Phenix and Brandon Mc-Lemore will be given a chance to compete for the job.
