TitansRadio.com, citing the Nashville City Paper, reports free agent S Bobby Myers (Titans) will re-sign with the Tennessee Titans for the league minimum of $300,000. "They are going to bring Bobby back," Myers' agent Ron Slavin told the City Paper. "He’s been injured for two years, and they didn’t want to tender him, but he’ll be back." The move to sign him, after he was released, saves the team approximately $305,000 on their 2003 salary cap.

The Tennessean reports Tennessee Titans general manager Floyd Reese said the team plans to offer one-year tender offers to each of their eight restricted free agents. That would allow the Titans to match any offer from another team or receive compensation in return. The players are: DT Robaire Smith, LBs Frank Chamberlin and Peter Sirmon, S Aric Morris and Bobby Myers, QB Billy Volek, RB Mike Green and TE Erron Kinney.

He obviously ends up in a backup role now,'' Coach Jeff Fisher said. ''We still have some questions about his rehab." Fisher added the door is still open for Myers.
