The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed free-agent LB Thomas Williams (Panthers) to a two-year deal Thursday, July 26, and waived DB Devin Holland. The team also announced that DL Da'Quan Bowers (Achilles') and CB Derrick Roberson (undisclosed) were placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list. OT Donald Penn (calf) was put on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list.

The Carolina Panthers released DL Lawrence Wilson Tuesday, Nov. 8, after he was cited for speeding and possession of marijuana during the team's bye week. The Panthers also activated CB Brandon Hogan (undisclosed) from the Physically Unable to Perform list, signed free-agent DL Thomas Keiser, LB Phillip Dillard and DL Jason Shirley, and released DL Ronald Fields. LB Thomas Williams (neck) was placed on the Injured Reserve with a neck injury.
