The team also announced that DL Da'Quan Bowers (Achilles') and CB Derrick Roberson (undisclosed) were placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list. OT Donald Penn (calf) was put on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list.

The Panthers also activated CB Brandon Hogan (undisclosed) from the Physically Unable to Perform list, signed free-agent DL Thomas Keiser, LB Phillip Dillard and DL Jason Shirley, and released DL Ronald Fields. LB Thomas Williams (neck) was placed on the Injured Reserve with a neck injury.
