Danny O'Neil, of The Seattle Times, reports the Seattle Seahawks signed LS Tyler Schmitt Wednesday, June 25. The deal is likely for four years and the team must now ratify the document. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports San Diego State LS Tyler Schmitt worked out at his school's Pro Day Saturday, March 8. Schmitt had a 7.19-second cone drill and measured in at 6-foot-2 5/8 and 236 pounds.
