Jackie Christensen, of The Eureka Reporter, reports undrafted rookie free-agent WR Maurice Purify (Nebraska) is expected to sign a deal with the Cincinnati Bengals sometime this week, according to his agent Gary Glick. Purify was invited to the team's rookie minicamps last weekend. "The chances are excellent that he's going to sign with Cincinnati this week," Glick said. "Right now we're just working out some of the details with the contract."

J.J. Pesavento, of Next Level Scouting, reports University of Nebraska WR Maurice Purify measured a height of 6-foot-3 1/8 and a weight of 224 pounds at his Pro Day. He measured a 36 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-5 broad jump. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.44 seconds and stood on the rest of his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine.
