He is hoping to have the amount reduced. Miller already lost $100,000 because of the incident, which resulted in a broken jaw, by missing a clause in his contract that called for him to be active for 16 games.

None of the agents involved will face disciplinary action. The fight between the two players broke out last November at an FBI shooting range in North Chicago during an evening barbecue where both men were drinking. Robert Grant, special agent in charge of the Chicago FBI, has decided to ban alcohol at the facility. The FBI did pursue a criminal inquiry since the fight took part on federal property, but declined to follow through after facts were taken to the U.S. attorney's office.
