Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan said the team likely will not use WR Pierre Garcon as a slot receiver this season. WRs Joshua Morgan and Leonard Hankerson are more likely to line up at slot receiver.

Free-agent WR Pierre Garcon (Colts) has posted on his Facebook page that he is going to sign with the Washington Redskins. Terms of the deal are not yet available.

Fantasy Tip: Garcon offers the Redskins a speedy deep threat, and his style of play fits well with that of Robert Griffin III's strong arm. Santana Moss will be the No. 1, which will free up room for Garcon to see one-on-one coverage. Consider him a slightly risky No. 3 fantasy receiver that has more value in standard scoring formats.
