The team has DE Cornellius Carradine, DL Glenn Dorsey, DL Ray McDonald and DL Justin Smith as locks to make the roster, and DL Ian Williams looking good for a backup job since the team gave him a $1 million contract extension. That leaves Dial, DL Demarcus Dobbs and DL Will Tukuafu battling for jobs.

Tue, 18 May 2010 04:43:19 -0700 The Kansas City Chiefs' idea of turning DL Glenn Dorsey into a nose tackle is a bad one, according to Kent Babb, of The Kansas City Star, via Twitter. Dorsey does not have the size to play the nose tackle slot after he was told to lose a lot of weight last year. The switch to nose tackle would be Dorsey's third position change in three years. A move to nose tackle would also mean that Dorsey is lost in the defensive scheme.
