Updating a previous report, according to Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com, Dallas Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells said he expects C Gennaro DiNapoli (foot), who is currently on the physically-unable-to-perform list, to begin practicing Tuesday, Nov. 9. That date is the deadline players on PUP must start practicing before teams are forced to put them on Injured Reserve.

Jennifer Floyd Engel, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports Dallas Cowboys C Gennaro DiNapoli (ankle) is out of the boot that protected a stress fracture on his ankle. However, DiNapoli has not returned to the practice field and Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells does not know when he will be able to return. "If he wasn't ready to play in the third preseason game, I don't see how I could do anything but prolong the physically unable to perform [stint]," Parcells said.

Dallas Cowboys C Gennaro DiNapoli (ankle) is suffering from a stress fracture in his right ankle, which will keep him sidelined for at least the first full week of training camp, according to Len Pasquarelli of ESPN.com. DiNapoli first experienced discomfort in the ankle in early June during minicamp, and after undergoing further tests, the injury was revealed. The typical recovery time for such an injury lasts from four to six weeks.
