Charean Williams, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports undrafted rookie free-agent DE Tommy Blake (Texas Christian) could receive a contract offer from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Blake tried out with the team during their minicamp. Buccaneers defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin said, "[Blake] did a good job. He's got some potential. He's just got to be consistent."

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Texas-Christian University DL Tommy Blake worked out at his school's Pro Day Thursday, March 6. Blake ran a 4.80 40-yard dash, had a 30 1/2-inch vertical jump, a nine-foot, three-inch long jump, a 4.37-second short shuttle, a 7.16-second cone drill and completed 23 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. He weighed in at 272 pounds.
