The team will announce the undisclosed extension Friday, Aug. 31. Truex is currently fifth in the Cup standings, and his 13 top-10 finishes are his most since 2007.

The windshields were taken from drivers David Reutimann and Martin Truex Jr. and one from JTG Daugherty Racing driver Bobby Labonte. They were taken because they had unapproved modifications.
