Busch will drive Hunter-Reay's No. 1 Chevrolet for the testing, and Busch said he's open to the idea of one day running in the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR's Coca-Cola 600 on the same day.

There has been much speculation that Busch was eventually looking to sign on with Richard Childress Racing. FRR general manager Joe Garone said the team is already having preliminary discussions with Busch, but serious talks won't likely start until after April.

Allmendinger share duties in the Sprint Cup Series. Driver Kurt Busch is hoping to drive for the team in the Nationwide Series. Smith will drive at Daytona and possibly seven to 10 Cup races throughout the season. Allmendinger's first race is expected to be at Phoenix.

Busch will drive the car after the Oct. 7 race at Talladega Superspeedway. Busch is currently 25th in points, two spots behind Smith.
