Reid Spencer, of SceneDaily.com, reports JR Motorsports driver Brad Keselowski said it is unlikely that he will return to the team for the Nationwide Series in 2010. Driver Kelly Bires is the leading candidate to replace Keselowski in the No. 88 Chevrolet.

Jeff Gluck, of SceneDaily.com, reports Michael Waltrip Racing driver Michael McDowell will join JTG Daugherty Racing in the Nationwide Series this season. He will replace driver Kelly Bires and will run in the first 16 races.

SceneDaily.com reports JTG Daugherty Racing and driver Kelly Bires will run at least 12 races in the 2009 Nationwide Series because of sponsorship issues, according to co-owner Tad Geschickter. The team will likely have two part-time teams this year.

PaddockTalk.com reports Wood Brothers/JTG Racing driver Kelly Bires and his No. 47 Clorox Ford car improved each time out during tests at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Bires did not have an opportunity during 2007's partial schedule to test the No. 47 car. Bires clocked his fastest time at 29.82 seconds and 181.056 mph as the tests were wrapped up.
