SceneDaily.com reports Joe Gibbs Racing driver Johnny Benson was eighth in the NASCAR Nationwide Series night test session at Lowe's Motor Speedway Monday, May 12, with a lap of 180.765 mph.

Bill Davis Racing announced Johnny Benson, in addition to Mike Skinner, is expected to see time driving the No. 27 Toyota Camry during the next several NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.

SceneDaily.com reports Joe Gibbs Racing driver Johnny Benson, who drives the No. 20 Toyota for JGR, posted the fastest lap at the NASCAR Nationwide Series testing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Thursday, Jan. 31. Benson posted a lap of 182.729 during the morning session of testing at LVMS.
