"We've helped out with an offer we have never done before for another driver," said Ford racing spokesman Kevin Kennedy. "It was important enough for us that we were trying to make it unprecedented." There is speculation that Edwards will move to Joe Gibbs Racing next year and drive the No. 20 car currently occupied by driver Joey Logano.
