Wed, 20 Feb 2008 11:34:04 -0800 SceneDaily.com reports Roush Fenway Racing driver Joey Clanton said Wednesday, Feb. 20, that it is time to move on and pursue other business opportunities. Officials from RFR announced Tuesday, Feb. 19, that Clanton would no longer be the driver of the team's No. 09 truck in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Clanton thanked RFR for the opportunity to drive the No. 09 truck but decided he would move on. "I have made the decision that it is time for me to pursue other opportunities," Clanton said. "I have several business and family obligations, and it is time to focus on them right now."
Mon, 18 Feb 2008 12:56:36 -0800 Roush Fenway Racing driver Joey Clanton will make his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at California Speedway Saturday, Feb. 23. Clanton will drive the No. 09 car and will use the RK240-34 chassis, which was last used at Martinsville in October 2007. It is Clanton's first full-time season in NASCAR and has five top 10 finishes in 19 CTS starts. His average finish is 21.84.

Clanton has five top 10 finishes in 18 CTS starts. The 2008 season will be Clanton's first full-time season in NASCAR.
