Hall of Fame-Yates Racing driver Erik Darnell will drive the No. 96 car in seven Sprint Cup races this season, making his debut at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend. He will also drive at Loudon, Kansas, Talladega, Texas, Phoenix and Homestead. Academy Sports & Outdoors will be Darnell's primary sponsor at Atlanta, Talladega and Texas. Financial terms of the sponsorship were not disclosed. Driver Bobby Labonte will continue to drive the No. 96 Ford Fusion with Ask.com and DLP as his primary sponsors at Richmond, Dover, Fontana, Charlotte and Martinsville.

Roush Fenway Racing driver Erik Darnell will make only his third NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at California Speedway Saturday, Feb. 23. Darnell will drive the No. 99 car and will use the RK389-54 chassis, which was last used in November 2007 where Darnell finished 14th after starting 23rd. He has 52 Craftsman Truck Series starts under his belt.
