Roush Fenway Racing driver Carl Edwards will not run a full-time Nationwide Series schedule this season. "The way we're approaching this season is, I'm not committing to any races right now," Edwards said. "And as the season goes, if I decide I'm just a nervous ball of energy on Saturdays and I can't function without going and racing - because that might be the case - then we'll work to try to go (Nationwide) racing."

Kellogg's will continue as Roush Fenway Racing driver Carl Edwards' primary sponsor for four Sprint Cup races in 2012. Fastenal will sponsor Edwards for 17 races and UPS will sponsor one event. Aflac will also continue as a primary sponsor.

Stewart-Haas Racing owner/driver Tony Stewart held off a charge from Roush Fenway Racing driver Carl Edwards for the victory at Homestead-Miami Speedway Sunday, Nov. 21. Edwards led by three points in the overall standings coming in, but Stewart won with Edwards finishing second. The two actually finished tied in points, with the tiebreaker going to Stewart, who picked up five wins in the final 10 races.

Roush Fenway Racing driver Carl Edwards finished second, with Stewart-Haas Racing driver Tony Stewart finishing third. Edwards takes a three-point Chase lead into the final Cup event next weekend.

Roush Fenway Racing president Steve Newmark expects the team to shrink from four cars to three in the 2012 Sprint Cup season. Drivers Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle are both fully sponsored for next year, but driver Matt Kenseth doesn't have sponsorship yet. Driver David Ragan could run a limited schedule. Drivers Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Trevor Bayne could also see time in a fourth car.

UPS has ended its primary sponsorship with Roush Fenway Racing driver David Ragan and will move to driver Carl Edwards. UPS will be the primary sponsor for Edwards for the Sprint Cup race at Kentucky.
