Mon, 02 Apr 2012 09:16:36 -0700 Michael Waltrip Racing announced Friday, March 30, that driver Brian Vickers will be adding two road course races to his Sprint Cup schedule this year. He will add the races at Sonoma and Watkins Glen to his schedule. Driver Mark Martin will drive the No. 55 Toyota in 24 races for the team.

Vickers will drive at Bristol Motor Speedway next weekend and the other Bristol race later in the year. He will also race at New Hampshire and Martinsville.

"I'm right now sitting at home, but that's OK," Vickers said. "I've got some great ideas that I'm very excited about. We're working with and talking to several of the sponsors in exploring a lot of options. I'm not going to fill you all in yet, but some options I'm pretty excited about."

PCR will consider Ragan "and others" for the No. 22 car next season. Michael Waltrip Racing driver David Reutimann and Red Bull Racing Brian Vickers are other drivers that could be considered. Driver Sam Hornish Jr. will not be under consideration.
