Wed, 04 Jan 2012 09:01:26 -0800 Richard Petty Motorsports announced Wednesday, Jan. 4, that driver Aric Almirola will officially come on board to drive the No. 43 car in the 2012 Sprint Cup Series schedule. He will be replacing driver A.J. Allmendinger. Almirola's crew chief will be Greg Erwin. Sponsorship for the No. 43 car remains to be determined.
