The Post-Dispatch reports St. Louis Rams rookie WR Milton Wynn apparently has learned his lesson after he wound up being benched during last week's pre-season game after getting in coach Mike Martz's doghouse. Martz gave Wynn another chance and it seems to have worked. "He's a different guy this week, completely different," Martz said Wednesday. "He's much improved in terms of the effort." Wynn said he now understands the coaches need him to produce after selecting him in the fourth-round of the NFL Draft.

The Associated Press reports St. Louis Rams backup WR Darrius Blevins is expected to miss three weeks with a knee injury. Coach Mike Martz said Friday that team doctors believed Blevins sustained cartilage damage. He likely will undergo arthroscopic surgery. Rookie WR Milton Wynn was held out of practice on Friday due to cramping.

The Post-Dispatch reports the St. Louis Rams signed fourth-round pick, WR Milton Wynn, to a three-year contract on Wednesday. Rams coach Mike Martz said it's unusual to find a player who combines Wynn's size (6 foot 2, 207 pounds) with an ability to beat corners with a "little guy" move. No financial terms were released.

Jim Thomas reports for the Post-Dispatch after spending Saturday focusing on defense in the NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams turned their Sunday focus to offense. Three of their four selections Sunday were offensive players, including two WRs. The WRs were Milton Wynn of Washington State and Francis St. Paul of Northern Arizona. They also added TE Brandon Manumaleuna of Arizona. Manumaleuna begins his NFL career behind starter Ernie Conwell and top backup Jeff Robinson on the depth chart. The Rams took their only defensive player of the day in the fifth round, CB Jerametrius Butler of Kansas State.
