Updating a previous report, the New York Giants re-signed CB Terrell Thomas to a four-year deal worth $17 million Tuesday, March 13. There is an option bonus next year for $6 million. His base salary for 2012 is $1 million, $750,000 for 2013 plus the bonus option and then $3.8 million base for 2014 and $4.75 million for 2015.

Impending free-agent CB Terrell Thomas (knee) (Giants) is hoping to get another chance after suffering his second torn anterior cruciate ligament in six years. Thomas insists he has had no setbacks in his rehab, and said his "knee's doing great." Thomas only resumed cutting while backpedaling two weeks ago, and he has yet to run a full sprint.

New York Giants CB Terrell Thomas (knee) will likely miss the entire season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the preseason game Monday, Aug. 22, against the Chicago Bears. He limped off the field with help from the medical staff, and he appeared to be favoring his right knee. CB Aaron Ross will likely assume Thomas' tsarting right cornerback position, with CB Corey Webster starting at LCB.
