New York Giants C David Baas (undisclosed), OG Chris Snee (hip), CB Terrell Thomas (knee) and LB Jacquian Williams (knee) did not take part in team drills during organized team activities (OTAs) Wednesday, May 22. They are still rehabbing, and participated only in individual drills.

New York Giants CB Terrell Thomas said he'd be willing to move to safety and that it would be easy because he played it in high school, for a stint in 2011 and in some formations in 2010.
Fantasy Tip: An internal switch would aid the Giants' depth at a vulnerable position and may bolster their potential for takeaways. Thomas, who's recovering from a second torn anterior cruciate ligament last summer, might have fleeting IDP value, too.

During an interview on NFL Network's "NFL AM" program, New York Giants CB Terrell Thomas (knee) said he feels head coach Tom Coughlin has one more year of coaching left in him. Coughlin is signed through the 2014 season. "But I think he has one more in him," said Thomas, a second-round pick in 2008 who missed the past two seasons with ACL injuries. "We have a great nucleus of guys, and I don't think he wants to give that up. That passion is still burning within him. He's in that facility all day every day; he's going crazy not being able to coach and watch film. He lives and breathes football. He has everybody in there all day, every day, in the offseason," Thomas said. Coughlin, 66, has given no public indications of his plans.

Updating a previous report, New York Giants CB Terrell Thomas' new one-year contract with the Giants will see him make a base salary of $500,000 with the possibility that he could make an additional $500,000 in incentives.

New York Giants CB Terrell Thomas (knee) said he would be fine with a possible move to safety because he just wants to get on the field after missing the last two seasons because of anterior cruciate ligament injuries. Thomas said his knee is feeling great and have been able to start running over the past two weeks.

New York Giants impending free-agent CB Terrell Thomas (knee) said he has begun to jog outside of a pool this week. He said he did not have any pain, swelling or discomfort while jogging.
