During an interview on NFL Network's "NFL AM" program, New York Giants CB Terrell Thomas (knee) said he feels head coach Tom Coughlin has one more year of coaching left in him. Coughlin is signed through the 2014 season. "But I think he has one more in him," said Thomas, a second-round pick in 2008 who missed the past two seasons with ACL injuries. "We have a great nucleus of guys, and I don't think he wants to give that up. That passion is still burning within him. He's in that facility all day every day; he's going crazy not being able to coach and watch film. He lives and breathes football. He has everybody in there all day, every day, in the offseason," Thomas said. Coughlin, 66, has given no public indications of his plans.

Updating a previous report, New York Giants CB Terrell Thomas' new one-year contract with the Giants will see him make a base salary of $500,000 with the possibility that he could make an additional $500,000 in incentives.

Thomas said his knee is feeling great and have been able to start running over the past two weeks.
