Minnesota Vikings C John Sullivan (knee) said he is not sure if he will be ready for the start of training camp and does not want to put a timetable on his return. "I just don't want to put a time frame on it," Sullivan said. "We're taking it one day at a time. I promise, I am doing absolutely everything I can to be ready for that [week one] game in Detroit."

Minnesota Vikings C John Sullivan (knee) underwent microfracture surgery on his left knee last week. Sullivan will likely need three-to-four months of rehabilitation, which means he will miss most of the Vikings offseason program. Sullivan is expected to make a full recovery for the start of training camp.

Minnesota Vikings C John Sullivan (ankle) signed a five-year, $25.1 million contract extension in December 2011, and he erased any doubt in 2012 when he ascended among the NFL's elite centers. He played all 1,097 snaps despite battling an ankle injury which hampered him early in the season. He developed into a leader, and just missed out on a Pro Bowl selection and a $500,000 escalator as a result. Sullivan and OT Matt Kalil are expected to be fixtures for many years to come.
