Milwaukee Brewers OF Gerardo Parra is starting in center field and hitting second in the batting order against St. Louis Cardinals SP Carlos Martinez.
Fantasy Tip: Parra ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) was much more successful against righties in 2014, going 118-for-432 (.273) with eight of his nine home runs, and it helps that he's hitting atop the Brewers lineup. Parra also has a home run in his only at-bat against Martinez. Still, Parra is more of a dice roll at FantasyScore tonight against the nasty Martinez.

Milwaukee Brewers OF Logan Schafer is starting in center field and hitting seventh in the batting order against Cincinnati Reds SP Homer Bailey Thursday, April 23. OF Gerardo Parra is taking the day off.
Fantasy Tip: Schafer ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) has a hit in 12 at-bats on the young season, and he shouldn't be of much consideration to FantasyScore owners on this Thursday. Look elsewhere to fill your outfield slots.

Milwaukee Brewers OF Logan Schafer will start in center field Tuesday, April 21, against the Cincinnati Reds. Schafer will be starting in place of OF Gerardo Parra.
Fantasy Tip: Schafer ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is a career .205-hitter, with his batting average dropping to .171 against lefties. He won't be worth consideration for FantasyScore contests with LHP Jason Marquis starting for the Reds.

Milwaukee Brewers OF Gerardo Parra is expected to take over from OF Carlos Gomez (hamstring) as the starting center fielder after Gomez was placed on the disabled list Thursday, April 16.
Fantasy Tip: Parra ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has three hits in 17 plate appearances to open the season but is a career .273 hitter, with three seasons of double-digit stolen bases and hit a career high 10 homers in 2013. Parra will be an excellent value play on FantasyScore, with the best matchups coming against right-handed pitchers.
Wed, 15 Apr 2015 13:56:53 -0700
Milwaukee Brewers OF Gerardo Parra is starting in left field and hitting sixth in the batting order against St. Louis Cardinals SP Lance Lynn Wednesday, April 15.
Fantasy Tip: Parra ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) should be considered a great value play at FantasyScore this evening. Not only did Parra hit .273 with eight of his nine home runs against righties last year, but he owns Lynn in his career in a small sample size (8-for-17 with two home runs, two triples and two doubles).

Milwaukee Brewers OF Gerardo Parra will be the starting right fielder for the game against the Colorado Rockies Wednesday, April 8.
Fantasy Tip: Parra ($2,900, 5.8% of cap) likely will remain in the starting lineup until Ryan Braun (side) is able to return. Parra is a cheaper option for owners on FantasyScore, but owners may be able to find a better option.
Tue, 07 Apr 2015 13:32:28 -0700
Milwaukee Brewers OF Gerardo Parra is starting in right field against the Colorado Rockies Tuesday, April 7, with OF Ryan Braun (side) out of the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Parra ($2,900, 5.8% of cap) actually becomes a pretty attractive buy-low piece at FantasyScore Tuesday night against Jordan Lyles. Parra has seven hits (three doubles) in just 13 career at-bats against Lyles, and he hit much better against righties (.273, eight home runs) than lefties (.206, one homer) in 2014.
Sun, 05 Apr 2015 12:03:33 -0700
The Milwaukee Brewers are considering moving OF Gerardo Parra to first base due to their surplus of outfielders. Parra has never played the position at the major league level.
Fantasy Tip: Parra ($2,900, 5.8% of cap) is slated to begin the season as a reserve on Milwaukee's bench, with Khris Davis, Carlos Gomez and Ryan Braun receiving regular playing time in the outfield. Adam Lind is expected to serve as the team's regular first baseman but he has had difficulty hitting against lefties in the past, so Parra's best bet to find playing time at first base would be against southpaws.
