Mark Saxon, of the Orange County Register, reports New Orleans Saints first-round pick DT Sedrick Ellis has a good feeling Saints defensive line coach Ed Orgeron was behind the trade that allowed the Saints to draft him. "I know he made a big push for me," Ellis said at his introductory media conference in New Orleans. "He was with me my freshman and sophomore years at the University of Southern California and he knows what kind of player I am."
