Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (ankle) practiced in full Friday, Nov. 1, and is probable for Week 9.
Fantasy Tip: Jackson should be in all starting lineups this weekend against the Oakland Raiders.

Philadelphia Eagles LB Jake Knott (hamstring) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 31. WR DeSean Jackson (ankle), P Donnie Jones (foot), LB Casey Matthews (hip) and QB Michael Vick (hamstring) were limited. SS Patrick Chung (shoulder), LS Jon Dorenbos (groin), QB Nick Foles (concussion), WR Damaris Johnson (ankle), OT Jason Peters (shoulder, finger), RB Chris Polk (shoulder) and DE Cedric Thornton (knee) practiced in full.
Fantasy Tip: Vick has already been ruled out this weekend and may miss more time with his hamstring that refuses to cooperate.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (ankle) is expected to practice Thursday, Oct. 31.
Fantasy Tip: D-Jax turned out to be limited and should be a full go in Week 9 against the Oakland Raiders. With Nick Foles (concussion) expected to start, Jackson should be a must-start.
Wed, 30 Oct 2013 11:33:14 -0700
Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Fantasy Tip: It appears Jackson is on track to play Week 9 despite his injury. He should be considered a starter in all fantasy leagues this week.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Chris Polk (shoulder), WR Damaris Johnson (ankle) and LB Jake Knott (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 30. QB Michael Vick (hamstring), WR DeSean Jackson (ankle), OT Jason Peters (finger, shoulder), DE Cedric Thornton (knee), LB Casey Matthews (hip) and P Donnie Jones (foot) were limited during practice. QB Nick Foles (concussion), SS Patrick Chung (shoulder) and LS Jon Dorenbos (groin) fully participated in practice.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Matt Barkley could start in Week 8 against the New York Giants if QBs Michael Vick (hamstring) and Nick Foles (concussion) can't play. "My decision on who our quarterback is is based on health," head coach Chip Kelly said. "Right now, I don't who's healthy or who's not healthy. Until we find out who's healthy, it doesn't help anybody to say, 'That guy's our starter.' It doesn't help the situation."
Fantasy Tip: Barkley tossed three interceptions after replacing Foles against the Dallas Cowboys. If he's forced to start this weekend, you'd be wise to downgrade DeSean Jackson and the rest of Philly's offensive weapons.
Sun, 13 Oct 2013 21:20:18 -0700
Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson had six receptions for 64 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Week 6 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jackson now has five touchdown receptions through six games. He had seven receiving touchdowns in his previous 32 games.
Fantasy Tip: Jackson has re-emerged as a must-start fantasy option. However, he is unlikely to keep up this pace, and makes for a nice sell-high candidate in fantasy leagues.
Tue, 08 Oct 2013 12:40:12 -0700
Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson isn't worried about working against one of the best shut-down cornerbacks in the league in Week 6 in Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Darrelle Revis. "I'm sure (Darrelle Revis) will follow me around," Jackson said. "He followed me around when he was with the New York Jets two years ago. I'm sure his coaches are confident in him. But I don't think he can run with me. I don't think he's as fast as me." Jackson had only two catches for 28 yards the last time he faced Revis.
Fantasy Tip: This isn't the same as back when Revis played for the New York Jets, but you should keep it in the back of your mind if you own D-Jax. Nick Foles starting at quarterback for the Iggles in Week 6 may also be a factor. Knock Jackson down a bit in your weekly rankings, but it probably won't be enough to bench him, depending on your other options.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson will match up against his former teammate, Denver Broncos CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, in Week 4 play. CB Champ Bailey (foot) remains questionable to play again this weekend. Rodgers-Cromartie covered Jackson almost every practice for the last two years when the two played together.
Fantasy Tip: Denver's secondary has given up big chunks of yardage through three games, likely because they've had the luxury of playing with big leads. D-Jax should have a nice game this weekend with Michael Vick targeting him early and often.

The Philadelphia Eagles' offense was efficient and quick in their Week 1 victory over the Washington Redskins Monday, Sept. 9; they ran a play every 22.4 seconds and 53 in the entire game. RB LeSean McCoy had big holes to run through, and WRs DeSean Jackson and Jason Avant and TE Brent Celek were wide open most of the time down the field. QB Michael Vick was very successful running the read-option. However, the Eagles players looked fatigued late in the game, often coming off the field for breathers. Jackson didn't catch any passes in the second half. "The tempo really worked," McCoy said. "I don't think anyone has seen it that fast. We've got to learn. We're learning as the thing goes. Coach Chip Kelly is a great coach. Today is the first time a lot of the guys in the locker room had fun. We couldn't wait to get back out there and have fun."
Fantasy Tip: Philly's offense was downright impressive in the first half. The up-tempo attack should continue to create mismatches in opposing defenses, but as we saw in the second half, is this something that Philadelphia will be able to sustain over a full season? Probably not, but for the time being, it makes all of the Iggles' offensive weapons much more attractive.
