Houston Texans RB Arian Foster (hamstring) did not practice Monday, July 28. Foster had his hamstring stretched during practice Sunday, July 27.
Fantasy Tip: This was just a precaution. Foster is too valuable to risk getting injured in training camp and he'll probably see limited action in the preseason. It is best to keep an eye on him, however. As long as he's healthy, he's an RB1 candidate in all scoring formats.

Houston Texans RB Arian Foster (undisclosed) left practice early Sunday, July 27, but the injury does not appear to be serious.
Fantasy Tip: Foster has dealt with injuries in the past, but there is enough time for him to get healthy before the start of the season. If healthy, Foster should be a starting running back in all fantasy leagues.

Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said RB Arian Foster would fill the roles that RBs Kevin Faulk and Danny Woodhead did with the New England Patriots.
Fantasy Tip: On the surface, that doesn't seem like an encouraging tidbit because those two didn't run the ball as much as a lead back does. However, if they feed him the ball and feature him in those receiving roles, he could return to elite fantasy status.

Houston Texans RB Arian Foster expects to be utilized a lot in 2014. "Coach (Bill) O'Brien has expressed many times how he wants to use me a lot out of the backfield," Foster said. "That's one of my strengths as a running back. So I'm excited about it."
Fantasy Tip: Foster is apparently 100 percent recovered from offseason back surgery and is ready to roll. While his usage won't be as high as it was when he was a consensus top-three fantasy football selection, he still could be quite productive. His fall outside the first round is more indicative of his true value.

Wed, 07 May 2014 09:39:26 -0700
Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said RB Arian Foster (back) has been cleared for football activities and looked fine during the team's workout Tuesday, May 6.
Fantasy Tip: Foster likely will receive most of the carries for the team this upcoming season. Even though there is an injury risk with Foster, he should be seen as a starting running back in all fantasy leagues in 2014 but is no longer a top-five pick.

Fantasy Tip: Brown likely will back up Arian Foster this upcoming season. Most fantasy owners should consider Brown as a possible handcuff to Foster during draft or as a flex option.
