San Francisco 49ers WR Mario Manningham (knee) is not expected to be ready for training camp. He continues to recover after suffering tears to the anterior cruciate and posterior cruciate ligaments in his left knee in a late-season game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy Tip: Manningham, who took a significant pay cut to stay with the team, will have his hands full when he is healthy, as he tries to stave off a handful of young challengers for the No. 3 wideout spot on the team. When healthy, he is nothing more than a No. 4 fantasy receiver or flex option in most leagues.

San Francisco 49ers WRs Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree are considered the unquestioned starters, but after that the depth chart battles are wide open. WR Mario Manningham (knee) will be trying to hold off challenges from WR A.J. Jenkins, rookie WR Quinton Patton and WR Kyle Williams (knee). WRs Ricardo Lockette, Chad Hall, Joseph Hastings, Marlon Moore, Chuck Jacobs and B.J. Daniels are also in the mix for roster spots, as the team is rather deep at the position.
