Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco went 21-for-50 for 195 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions against the Houston Texans in Week 16.
Fantasy Tip: We expect Flacco and the Ravens to bounce back in the season finale against the Cleveland Browns, but Flacco remains a midrange starting QB at FantasyScore.
Mon, 27 Oct 2014 11:57:58 -0700
Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith has been the intended target for five of QB Joe Flacco's seven interceptions this season, which is tied for the most interceptions when targeting a receiver. Smith has also caught only 46.2 percent of the passes thrown to him this season.
Fantasy Tip: Smith scored three touchdowns in the previous two games but did not catch any passes in Week 8. Smith has had a bit of an up and down season but will look to improve his connection with Flacco. Smith probably is a No. 2 or No. 3 wide receiver most weeks.
Mon, 20 Oct 2014 05:44:22 -0700
Baltimore Ravens TE Owen Daniels was targeted by QB Joe Flacco nine times Sunday, Oct. 19, and caught six balls for 58 yards and a touchdown in Week 7. Daniels is second on the team with 27 catches, 275 yards and three touchdowns. "He makes catches in traffic," Flacco said. "He obviously has held onto the ball a lot of times while getting hit by two guys, even one in the end zone. So, yes, I have a lot of confidence throwing to him."
Fantasy Tip: Daniels' Week 7 performance shed some light on his dimming fantasy stock. He hadn't done much since his surprising two-touchdown performance in Week 2. Daniels solidified himself as a mid-to-low TE1 on FantasyScore.
Sun, 12 Oct 2014 16:17:25 -0700
Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco became the fastest quarterback since the NFL-AFL merger to throw five touchdowns in a game in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Flacco's fifth touchdown pass came just 16 minutes into the game. His five touchdown passes matched the most by a Ravens quarterback in their history, and it marked a personal high.
Fantasy Tip: We recommended Flacco for your FantasyScore lineups against the Bucs, and he delivered. Flacco won't match his performance next week against the Atlanta Falcons at home, but he won't be a bad option again.
Sun, 12 Oct 2014 10:34:13 -0700
Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco has thrown four touchdowns in the first quarter of the team's Week 6 game.
Fantasy Tip: Flacco has been pretty solid so far this season but has put up four quick scores in Week 6. Flacco probably is not a weekly starting option for owners but could be a matchup play depending on his opponent.

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco completed 22 of his 31 pass attempts for 327 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 4 win against the Carolina Panthers.

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (illness) did not participate in practice Wednesday Sept. 17, as he is dealing with a cold.

Tue, 22 Jul 2014 16:27:17 -0700
Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco expects the team to operate at a high level despite learning a new offense. Flacco said the team needs to quickly correct the mistakes they make and keep them from occurring again.
Fantasy Tip: It's ironic that Flacco expects mistakes to be corrected, considering he threw a career-high 22 interceptions last season. Those mistakes are the main reason why Flacco is an unreliable fantasy quarterback and should only be drafted as a backup.
Tue, 22 Jul 2014 13:12:00 -0700
Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco said he's become more comfortable in offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak's offense.
Fantasy Tip: This is promising news heading into training camp, but Flacco has proven that he's not a reliable fantasy quarterback. He's solidly in low-end QB2 territory.
Wed, 25 Jun 2014 10:25:41 -0700
Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco said the new offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak's playbook is not very difficult to learn, noting the main change from last year's system is the terminology is "completely different." Flacco said the offense is playing faster because of a more streamlined playbook, which allows players to "do what they're good at" because of having fewer things to consider.
Fantasy Tip: This offense could lead to more fantasy production, but the unsettle running game and questionable offensive line are chief concerns. Flacco is a backup option best suited for favorable matchup consideration.
Fri, 20 Jun 2014 17:14:06 -0700
Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco has looked to be a good fit in offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak's system based on his performance during offseason workouts.

Thu, 30 Jan 2014 06:23:35 -0800
Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak uses a lot of play-action passes, particularly off of bootleg plays, in his offense. The offense is built around a zone-blocking scheme where the offensive line and running back will execute a hard play-fake to one side, while QB Joe Flacco will have to bootleg to the backside of the play unprotected. Flacco's mobility has been questioned in the media, and many wonder whether he can run bootlegs.

Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak said he is unsure of if he will call plays from the booth or field, and it may come down to QB Joe Flacco's comfort. These moves opened up the running game, and the team was able to establish the run with more success. RB Ray Rice had 15 carries for 45 yards and RB Bernard Pierce had six carries for 13 yards. We've just been working hard the last week and a half trying to get our timing down," Stokley said.
Fantasy Tip: It appears like Stokley is on his way to making the final roster and having a solid role in the offense this season. Stokley is probably not a target for owners in their drafts but could be a waiver wire option at some point during the season.

Tandon is that real strong-handed guy that can go up and make some catches for you. He's got a good feel for how to run the routes in there."
