Jamison Hensley, of The Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco hit playing-time incentives during his rookie season, which have pushed his base salary from $385,000 to $1.5 million this season. By playing in 80 percent of the snaps last year, he increased his salary an extra $750,000 each of the next four seasons. He also pocketed an extra $200,000 for each of his playoff victories.

Flacco eclipsed a huge playing-time escalator in his contract of participating in 80 percent of the team's snaps as a rookie. He will have $750,000 added to his base salary in he remaining four years of his contract. Flacco could also earn $200,000 this year for each postseason victory.
