Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco said he feels good about having four of the five offensive linemen returning from the super bowl team in 2013. "Yeah, it does," Flacco said when asked if he feels good about the pass blocking with McKinnie back. "I think every year we've been here, we've juggled the offensive line around a pretty good amount. And at some point or another during the middle of the season or come playoff time or all through preseason and at the beginning of the season, we've switched something or just made our starting line.
"So, I think the fact that we have a pretty good feel about who is going to be up there is definitely good for me, and the fact that they played so well together last year at the end of the season is definitely a big confidence booster."

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco praised his young wide receiving core of Tandon Doss, Deonte Thompson and David Reed. "I haven't heard too much about all that, but I'm excited about who we have," Flacco said. "I like the idea of having guys that we've had, we've drafted here or we've picked up here, and grooming them and getting those guys to become great wide receivers. They definitely have the talent to do it. I think we just need to get them some reps. And when I say reps, I mean game time reps, so their confidence can take off."

Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice wants to become a bigger receiving threat out of the backfield in 2013. "Now that guys know that I'm a threat out of the backfield, I got to use my hands a little more," Rice said. "I get pushed a lot coming out of the backfield, and that's a sign of respect, but if I can get my hands and get out on pass routes and continue to get open for Joe Flacco."
Fantasy Tip: Rice, one of the premier running backs in the NFL, caught 61 passes for 478 yards and one touchdown in 2012. If he can improve on those numbers, his fantasy football value will continue to increase, especially in PPR leagues.

The Baltimore Ravens likely will look for QB Joe Flacco to restructure his contract prior to the 2016 season if the salary cap does not significantly increase because he is scheduled to have a $18 million base salary and $28.55 million salary cap figure that season. "Depending on the salary cap, that's what will determine when we get to the fourth year, what they're going to have to do," Flacco's agent, Joe Linta, said. "We really viewed this as sort of a three-year deal to make sure the first three years Joe was paid accordingly with the top guys in the league."

Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan is entering the last year of a $72 million contract, and could be the next quarterback to join the $100 million dollar club with his next contract. Baltimore Raven's QB Joe Flacco's new contract is a comparable for Ryan's next deal, according to Andrew Brandt of ESPN. "It's yet another comparable and data point for Matt Ryan," said Andrew Brandt, ESPN's NFL business analyst and former chief negotiator for the Green Bay Packers. "The gold standard was Drew Brees, at least on the average at $20 million (per season). Now, you have $20.1 million. It's certainly a place they could look at as the freshest data point."
