He might be headed for the 15-day disabled list. He had three hits Sunday, June 16, against the Arizona Diamondbacks, but was lifted late. Fantasy Tip: If you normally depend upon Cabrera in NL-only or deeper mixed fantasy leagues, reserve him immediately. Newcomer Pedro Ciriaco might pay instant dividends, seeing regular at-bats if Cabrera hits the DL. If you need an emergency replacement, should Cabrera officially land on the DL, Ciriaco is your man.

If Gyorko wins the job at second base, Forsythe may not make the opening day roster, although he could platoon at short with SS Everth Cabrera.
