"I think it's going to be a great competition. The good things is, we're not picking from two bad players. We're picking from two pretty good players. That's a big difference. "I can go out there and do drills and stuff like that and do a couple of things to keep me refined in what I do. It's basically just a slow process toward getting back out there," McKelvin said. He said he will be fully participating in offseason workouts.

The Associated Press reports Buffalo Bills CB Leodis McKelvin's front lawn of a home belonging to him in Hamburg, N.Y., was vandalized after the team's Week 1 loss. Police confirmed the home of a Bills' player was vandalized, but declined to release details of their investigation after an obscenity and the score of the team's loss were painted in white on the player's lawn. McKelvin fumbled a kickoff return with under two minutes to play Week 1. The New England Patriots scored the go-ahead touchdown three plays later.

"He's really getting better. Sometimes we have very complex game plans, and when you don't get all the reps it's kind of tough to be on top of your game.
