Seattle Seahawks DL Red Bryant said Wednesday, Oct. 26, that he was fined for headbutting Cleveland Browns TE E. Alex Smith in the final moments of the Week 7 game. He was flagged for a personal foul and ejected. He would not disclose how much the fine was for, but said it was a "costly mistake."

Seattle Seahawks DL Red Bryant (knee) did not practice Tuesday, Aug. 9, and he will not play in the preseason opener Thursday, Aug. 11, against the San Diego Chargers. Head coach Pete Carroll said that Bryant's knee is fine, and that the team is just taking a cautious approach with him. Carroll expects Bryant to return to practice Saturday, Aug. 13.
