However, now that Davis is the team's primary option at tight end with the loss of TE Chris Cooley (ankle), he will stay and prepare at the team's facility. Davis caught eight passes for 78 yards and one touchdown in Week 7. "Not the way you want it," Davis said of his new role. "But this is an opportunity. That's how this league is. One guy goes out, you got to be able to fill the shoes - or try. In this situation, that's why they drafted me in the second round."
