Redskins | Fred Davis arrested

Thu, 20 Feb 2014 19:49:28 -0800

Washington Redskins impending free-agent TE Fred Davis was arrested Thursday, Feb. 20, and has been charged with driving under the influence.

Fantasy Tip: As a soon-to-be free agent, Davis' indefinite suspension and DUI arrest are likely to make it extremely tough for him to find a suiter on the open market. This could easily be the last we see of Davis in the NFL.

Redskins | Fred Davis getting more PT

Wed, 18 Dec 2013 15:05:51 -0800

Washington Redskins TE Fred Davis is seeing more playing time with TE Jordan Reed (concussion) sidelined, and Davis caught his first touchdown pass of the year in Week 15. Davis has three catches in the last three games but didn't have a catch prior to that since Sept. 15.

Fantasy Tip: Davis should continue to see more snaps this weekend with Jordan Reed (concussion) still ailing. However, Logan Paulsen will be involved in the game plan, too, limiting Davis' appeal.

Redskins | Fred Davis trying to stay patient

Wed, 06 Nov 2013 11:07:40 -0800

Washington Redskins TE Fred Davis said he is trying to stay patient while waiting for a chance to play but is feeling useless because he has been inactive the last several games. Davis said he does not believe he is the one to blame for his lack of playing time. "No, I don't feel that way. I feel like, if anything, I came back here for less money. I'm unselfish. I came back here, I worked hard off an Achilles injury, played through preseason, didn't ask for no days off. I don't know. I don't see where it could be my fault."
