The Dallas Cowboys may decide to trade CB Mike Jenkins before the deadline Thursday, Nov. 1, now that they know what they have in CB Morris Claiborne. Another team would likely have to give up a fourth-round pick in order to land Jenkins, though. It's clear that Jenkins will not be back after this season.

Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan said CB Mike Jenkins has practiced this week mostly as part of the team's substitution packages, such as their nickel and dime defenses that call for five and six defensive backs on the field at the same time. Ryan added he plans to move Jenkins around the field. "Jenkins has unique ability," Ryan said. "When I had Charles Woodson at Oakland, Charles Woodson is an All-Pro corner but he could also do a lot of other things. I think Mike Jenkins has those types of traits. With Jenkins, if we are going to bring him in, we're going to bring him in on our terms, which may not necessarily be the terms that the other team wants. We're going to move him around and let him do some things that we think he'll be really effective."
