Mariners | Robinson signed to minor league deal

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer's John Hickey reports the Seattle Mariners have signed 1B Scott Robinson to a minor league contract. Robinson was voted the most valuable player in 2007 while playing for Macon in the independent South Coast League, where he hit .338 with 11 home runs, 32 doubles and 67 RBI.
