Wunsch is supposed to compete with Floyd Womack as the starting right guard. However, if Jones holds out, Womack could be moved to tackle and Wunsch would play right guard.

Updating previous reports, John Clayton reports for ESPN.com free agent OL Jerry Wunsch (Seahawks) received a last-second recruiting pitch by Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren. So after being prepared to accept a two-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings, Wunsch was leaning toward re-signing with the Seahawks. Wunsch won't decide until Tuesday, according to his agent, Ralph Cindrich. As noted earlier, Wunsch had agreed on a two-year, $1.6 million offer from the Vikings that included a $400,000 signing bonus. Wunsch didn't want to formally accept the deal until he called Holmgren.
